Dyslexia Screenings


I offer a comprehensive dyslexia screening, which is suitable for a child that is home schooled or attends a friendly private school*.  

A full screening will let parents know what type of tutoring is needed, what accommodations should be offered, as well as how to explain dyslexia to their child.  

During this process, I will be able to determine with a high degree of accuracy whether or not your child fits the classic profile of dyslexia.  I will show you exactly what...in the schoolwork samples, report cards, prior testing results, screening tools, as well as which of your answers to my questions...caused me to reach that conclusion.

The screening process includes:

  • An In-depth phone interview to review the child's educational and family history

  • A complete review of school records, reports, and current schoolwork samples

  • Administering multiple screening tools which include standardized and non-standardized tests

  • Final face-to-face parent meeting to review results of the screening, written report, and resources

  • An action plan for parents that includes recommendations and accommodations
